IRL - Indy Racing League

The Indy Racing League is the first of our covered series to publish their 2008 Schedule. It’s hard to believe that 2008 could be any better than the current years exciting races and finale. Unlike NASCAR, the IRL does not re-set the clock and the point system to create excitement in the last few races. It simply isn’t needed. At least a half dozen current IRL drivers will be legitimate challengers for the Championship at the beginning of the season, and the competition will be tight right up to the last few races. There are also rumors of new teams, and new drivers which can only be good.
