Drove in all 14 Daytona Prototype races, with a best result of seventh at Mid-Ohio. Had back-to-back ninth-place finishes in six-hour races at Mont-Tremblant and Watkins Glen.

2004
Rookie season in the Star Mazda North American Championship Series racing with Synergy Racing (then G&W Motorsports). Qualified on the front row in the season opener at Sebring International Raceway. Qualified in the top six in five out of seven races. Finished the season with a third-place finish at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Also competed in the Formula BMW USA championship, finishing sixth in the overall championship. Picked up two podium finishes with second at Road America and third at Lime Rock Park.

2003
Finished fourth in the Formula Dodge National Championship with three wins, four podium finishes and 11 top-10 finishes out of 13 races. Was a invitee to the Big Scholarship Shoot-Out where he earned $30,000 for his 2004 season. Finished second in the Formula Dodge Western Region Series with seven victories, 13 podium finishes and three poles.

2002
Competed in the Formula Dodge Midwestern Region Series, finishing 14th out of 112 competitors despite competing in only 10 of the 14 races. Finished in the top 10 in every race, including three podium finishes.
