Coleman drove with fellow 16-year-old teammate Colin Braun in the Rolex 24 At Daytona, finishing seventh in the GT class. The duo also finished ninth overall in a Daytona Prototype at Virginia.

2004
Participated in the Star Mazda Series, and ran 15,000 miles of open-wheel and stock car testing.

2003
Became the first U.S. driver to receive a professional open-wheel racing license and to achieve a podium finish at the age of 14. Finished fourth in the Fran-Am 1600 Pro Series and second in the rookie standings with five podiums and 10 top-five finishes in 12 starts.

2002
Earned three karting championships and finished second in two other karting series. Posted 27 wins and 42 podiums in 64 races. Earned World Speed/SKUSA open-wheel test.
