Hamilton Wins At Spa
Related: Formula 1
If you missed this mornings F-1 race at Spa, do not miss the replays later in the day. Also, do not miss the last 3 laps. It looked very much like time to stick a fork in Lewis Hamilton, but he was far from done. Riding in second behind Raikkonen’s Ferrari for most of the race, he started to close up near the very end of the race, and then rain began falling. It changed the game completely.
At one point Sebastien Bourdais was in second, and it looked like he would land a podium finish until the rain scrambled things up in the last few laps. That’s right – Bourdais was in second, and Raikkonen was in the wall! This is a race to watch if you get the chance.
Congratulations to Hamilton and condolences to Raikkonen. Now we head into the last few races of the 2008 season with Lewis 8 points ahead of Kimi. Monza is only one week away and it should be great as always, but I have not seen the end of an F-1 race as exciting as Spa in a long time.
