Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton for his victory in the Monaco Grand Prix. On the way to the podium he overcame a rain slick street circuit and an early accident for a victory that put him at the top of the Formula 1 standings by three points over Kimi Raikkonen.

After two races, it looks like the 2008 F-1 season is going to be a bit different from the past few years. Ferrari and McLaren appear to be as strong as usual but BMW Sauber and Williams Toyota look like they have stepped up their game and may be serious front runners this year. Renault appears to be a little off the pace, but whatever you care to think about him, Fernando Alonzo is quite capable of overcoming shortcomings in the car and staying with the front runners.

According to a recent issue of AutoWeek Magazine, the team and driver arrangements for the 2008 F-1 season are just about set. The list is as follows;
