The 2008 American Le Mans season will feature some of your old favorite and familiar drivers along with a crop of drivers new to the series this year. With its unique formula of four different classes on track at the same time, the ALMS series is like no other, and adds an exciting element of difficulty for the drivers. Coming from racing backgrounds as diverse as one can imagine, all drivers in this series are geared up to put on a great season of competition in 2008.

2008 begins the 10th season of the American Le Mans Series. The series features four different classes of sports cars competing on the same track at the same time. This season will add new drivers and teams to an already exciting mix. The LMP-1 and LMP-2 cars will compete head to head, with the smaller LMP-2 cars coming on strong against their more powerful rivals. Drivers say these cars are wonderful to drive. They have tons of grip and the lap times are fantastic and the racing is great.
