American Le Mans

2008 begins the 10th season of the American Le Mans Series. The series features four different classes of sports cars competing on the same track at the same time. This season will add new drivers and teams to an already exciting mix. The LMP-1 and LMP-2 cars will compete head to head, with the smaller LMP-2 cars coming on strong against their more powerful rivals. Drivers say these cars are wonderful to drive. They have tons of grip and the lap times are fantastic and the racing is great.

Corvette has been the dominant force in the GT-1 class for so long it scared off its competition. 2008 finds the team looking to the moderately modified GT-2 class series in order to get back to serious racing.
