A winning car owner and accomplished racer, Michael Petersen and his Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing team returns to the American Le Mans Series’ GT2 grid to defend its first class championship achieved in 2005. . .Has made limited number of starts in recent years while concentrating his skill and experience on development and operation of front-running, championship team that has already produced noteworthy sports car victories at 24 Hours of Le Mans (2003, 2004), Sebring and Petit Le Mans (2005). . .His championship team returns for its fourth full-season of Series competition in a new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.
